We received a delivery of fresh, organic King Trumpet Mushrooms at work today.

So I had to take the opportunity to make them pose for me.

Then I chopped them up and sautéed them in olive oil with some fresh garlic, capers and olives - for a VERY tasty lunch!

One of my first attempts at free lensing. Mom is playing the french horn and being patient. I think it turned out pretty cool, something I'll definitely be trying again. The EXIF data is wrong, it was with my Sigma 50mm at f/1.4.

I found Martin Roemers on the internet today. I don't know much about him, but his photos are awesome, you should check them out.

How I pass the time

I'm still working on the next part of my What Winter Taught Me set so I thought I should upload something to pass the time. This was my day 328/365 shot for my facebook album. I'm so close to finishing. March 1st is day 365 and I'm looking forward to planning something big. But anyway, basically this is me.

Also this was the first time that I merged two different pictures of one person. I really liked my stance in this one, but I liked the horn position in the other picture so I put them together. Finally feeling mildly proficient in photoshop haha.
